Pinky PawZ ~ the world’s first website that’s run by pets for pets!

‘Pinky PawZ’ began one warm summers evening as a group of cats lay sprawled across the sofa watching Animal Planet and enjoying a tipple or two of Craze Catnip. Whilst some of them lay in an upside down position and the odd one or two were hanging from the curtains or plucking on the arm of the sofa, they started chatting about their owners, and how they never seem to buy them the things they really want.
 
After a few more cocktails of catnip and maybe the odd hairball or two, it finally struck them…why not open a store where they can sell the stuff that cats & dogs really really like, at great prices, with delivery that’s faster than a cat on a hot tin roof.

Well, as the effects of the much loved catnip began to wear off and the reality of the task ahead of them started to set in, they put their PawZ together and with a little help from the dogs and a little input from friends, Pinky PawZ was finally born. (and believe it or not, they still managed to squeeze in their 18 hour ‘cat-nap’ each day!).

Starting out in the Dog eat Dog world of eBay, within 12 months Pinky PawZ became one of the fastest growing sellers for pet products. In doing so they achieved Gold Power Seller status, 100% feedback ratings, Top Rated Seller Status  and were placed in eBay’s top 10% of best sellers with regards to detailed ratings from their customers and in December 2010 Pinky PawZ enjoyed an advertorial feature in the World Famous VOGUE magazine! From that day to this, Pinky PawZ success has continued to grow, providing cool and unusual products at prices to suit everyone’s pocket with a service to match.

From budget to boutique their dedicated team of experts are constantly looking at and trying out new products which they feel may bring the zest of life to their fellow felines and canine companions across the globe, and, unlike the vast majority of stores, each of our products receives a paw of approval before it is stocked, shopped & shipped! ...and all this with a smile and great personalities too!!!

		Jet: with looks to die for and chiselled to purrrfection, Jet certainly is a girl that stands by a work hard and party hard policy. With her dedication, long working hours policy (thanks Jet) and an attitude of “only the best is good enough” she certainly has put Pinky PawZ where it is today. Lets face it only a Female could come up with such a brilliant and ingenious idea!
		Sky: She’s Daz white, cute, deaf (or as we like to say “audibly challenged”) and seriously daft! But despite her disability, Sky has positively earned her place within the company. Sky’s title of “creative director of catnip” may seem pretty odd to you as it does to us, but this is what she wants to be known as and we’re not going to argue with her! Due to her condition, her other senses are somewhat heightened and this is why she is so efficient at her job. Sky is an official catnip addict and she spends most of her time “nipped up” and on cloud nine. She does occasionally report back to us with the quality, strength and freshness of our catnip products which are some of the most potent on the planet. In her spare time she likes to sleep, sleep and well…sleep.
		Chino: A 7 human year old, seal colourpoint Ragdoll. Chino’s role is head of IT & Technology at Pinky PawZ and he currently holds an IQ of over 200 which he seems to better year after year at the feline equivalent of Mensa. Chino makes sure that everything looks spectacular on the website and that the descriptions are correct and above board. (Although he does make the odd spelling mistake or two, but only when he has had a skin full of catnip).  His main interests are the feline composition, rocket science & nuclear physics. A true geek without the glasses.
		Leo: Now you see him, now you don’t. As the speed of Leo is only rivalled to that of the Cheetah, he is head of toy development. One sample from each batch of toys is tested by Leo to ensure strength, durability & playability. Once the toys have passed his strict guidelines he gives it the Pinky PawZ Paw of approval. In his spare time Leo currently looks at ways in which his speed could actually bend time!
		Nico: Probabley one of the biggest cats the world has ever seen and with his 20cm biceps, 58cm Chest and weighing in at a massive 20lbs+, Nico spends most of his time down at the cat gym. Nico has a strict diet of dried Craze Balance biscuits, fish and Craze cat treats. He also likes to indulge in his 5 a day yeowww catnip fruit and of course his daily helping of greens (loose craze catnip). As Niko has a strict discipline for diet & exercise he is head of quality control with regards to Craze treats, scratching posts & cat Gyms. Basically if he doesn’t like it, or it’s wearing trainers, it isn’t getting in. lets face it, he’s not one to argue with!
		Bella: (AKA - Boo) one of the youngest members of the team and certainly the most insane member of staff here at Pinky PawZ. Bella (once our office junior) has a responsibility for toys mainly the feather type. Her main duties now include, chasing Nico, licking windows, growling at people passing by and yelling at mice!. Bella is that wired that her once blue eyes are now permanently black. She does assure us that she’s not on any medication for her insanity, but we like to think other wise!
		Lily (AKA pad) with a her seriously cute face and delightful antics Lily is a petite young lady who is serious about business and always gets what she wants, when she wants it. As Nikos true sibling and despite the sheer size difference, Lily is often found to be chasing Niko, getting him into head locks and giving him the odd bunny kick or two! When questioned about this she says its part of her pilates routine which is good for burning fat and losing those unwanted calories…well…as you can imagine we didn’t stick around to find out!
		Meesha: A highly trained German Shepherd with an eye for precision and quality. (well, she is German after all!). Meesha is head of product and development with regards to our canine products which she rigorously tests for quality, strength and value for money. In her spare time she likes to go for long walks, chew slippers, lick the postman and roll around on the floor (the hussy).
